Listen up folks! Daffyd Edgar speaking! Your very own independent chairman of the independent Rangers supporters trust.

We are the voice of the people for the people, open for all regardless of religion, race or profession!

You won’t get any mission statements here or long winded polemics on ideology, politics or economics, we aim to keep it simple. YOU are the people that matter, without YOU we are nothing.

So it doesn’t matter who you are, a lawyer, accountant, surgeon, property developer or highly successful entrepreneur, we aim to represent all sections of society!

I made this absolutely clear to Dave (none of that Sir David pomposity in the RST!) when he used me to form this august organization. No interference from above, no editorial control, no ‘official club’ spin. What you see is is what you get. (However, we do reserve the right to correct the spelling and grammar of those correspondents who have not had the benefit of a proper education like some of us).

Rangers is a club on the move, a club proud of the rich traditions which make us an integral part of Scottish socety. Although we embrace the past, we are also ready to engage the challenges of the third millennium!

So if your name is Billy or Pat, Knox or Declan, welcome one and all!
